Unique mid-century design pendant necklace. The integral pendant consists of a 14K white gold spiral, with the front surfaces encrusted with diamonds, and a rod inside the spiral that ends with a large white pearl. The setting of the pearl has 3 diamonds above it on the articulated terminus of the rod. The pendant is affixed to the chain by a V-shaped white gold component. The chain is a small link rollo style. The diamonds are very clear, "white" and sparkly.
The pendant is 1 and 3/8 inches high, measured from the top of the spiral, by 1/2 inches wide. The necklace is 16 inches long, and it weighs 6.7 grams. The pearl is about 13 mm by 12 mm. There are well over 100 small diamonds on the spiral. (I actually counted 120, but may be off by a couple). The 3 larger diamonds above the pearl are a little over 1mm in diameter.
Marked "14K" on the back of the pendant and also on the lobster claw clasp. There are also some other characters on the back of the pendant, but the only two can make out are "42".
Very good condition. A lovely piece with high quality materials and construction.
