This is a very nice white on white patterned cotton frilly Enfantine mode dress ca. 1860's. It would look lovely on an early French Fashion Rohmer or Barrois, or other such as a wax child. Condition is excellent, all I can find are mends on the cloth covered buttons in back. It has a drawstring waist and neck with closure in back by ties and buttons. The bodice is gathered and has sweet puffed sleeves. Measurements: center neck to waist 3", waist to hem 8 1/2", shoulder seam to shoulder seam 5 1/2", about a 2 1/2" sleeve opening, sleeves are about 1 1/2" long, waist 8" adjustable.
A beauty of a dress and it is entirely hand sewn. Clean and ready to wear.
