This original cardboard spool contains at least 10 yards of 1/8th wide 1930's black soutache cord trim. Since from the 1930's fiber is most likely a rayon cotton or other fiber blend and is substantial. The condition is like new. Very nice and sturdy. I am not sure how many yards are on the spool as I didn't want to remove to measure. It is very thickly wound around and there most likely is a lot more than 10 yards. It is not as flexible or as thin as a silk or wool soutache. Perfect to make decorative frog closures, trim seams, and so forth. Price is what I paid many years ago when I bought to sew, which I never did, so here it is!
