Sauceboat has the form of a boat, is raised on an high oval curved foot,
On its side curved and cast handle.
The back of body is formed through an embossed shell.
Sauce vessels was formed around 1700 and originates probably in France (court of Louis XIV).
Measures 7" long.
Tremor stoke on bottom. Tests for silver.
