This is a very versatile industrial task lamp with height and shade angle adjustments. It has it's original oxidized copper finish, sometimes called "tortoise shell copper" finish, which was an extra cost finish from the manufacturer. It is adjustable in height from 23" to 27" and is quite stable with a cast iron base. The angle of the shade is also adjustable. It is 10" at the widest point with the shade in place. The shade holder is dated "Sept 29 1896". The shade is cone shaped green over white cased glass with vertical ribs which match the ribs in the lower base. I have two cone type shades for this lamp one is ribbed and the other is smooth, you can have your choice of either shade. Please note these are hand blown shades from the turn of the last century and as such may have random "straw marks", air bubbles or other surface imperfections which are normal for shades from this era. They are beautiful shades and most people would not even notice these imperfections and are only mentioned for purposes of extreme accuracy.
