The Zipper Loop lamp was first manufactured around 1900. This one is of clear glass but they also made carnival glass lamps found in smoky blue and marigold as well as finger lamps. There are matching ribbed loops on the font and base along with ribbing around the top of the font. The collar has two groves and is common on lamps. The burner was manufactured by the P&A Company. The lamp is 8" tall to the top of the collar and 16 3/4" with the chimney. It is in very good condition free of chips and cracks and has a few air bubbles in the base. A very nice collector lamp.
