Dogtooth Footed Finger Lamp
The Dogtooth finger lamp was manufactured in the late 1800's and was also made in a stand lamp. The pattern is molded on the outside of the font but on the underside of the base. There is a dogtooth line around the top of the font and the foot of the base. The base also has a circle of beads. There are rayed ribs that run from the top of the base to the bottom of the font. It does have a slight lean towards the handle and one bead under the foot is rough due to the way it was produced. The burner is a new Queen Anne #2. The lamp stands around 5 1/2" to the top of the collar and 13 1/4" with the chimney. It is a well designed lamp free of chips and cracks.
