An iconic silk blend scarf by Vera Neumann in vibrant chartreuse, grass green, deep turquoise, purple and white. The silk screened pattern is an iconic 1960s geometric pattern. A scarf that is classic Vera. You know it is hers without looking for the signature. Circa 1960’s.

Small “Vera©” signature. Label reads, “scarves by Vera – 60% rayon 40% silk – made in Japan”. Second label has laundering instruction. Finished with hand rolled, hand stitched edges.

The scarf measures 26 inches square.

It is in excellent condition no damage or wear. The colors are beautiful.

HISTORIQUE: Vera Neumann - Vera's scarves started when she began using surplus WWII parachute silk in 1947 in America. She used other textiles as well. Vera used a wide range of design sources to make interesting patterned original designs. Vera silk screened scarves are much sought after today.
