St Peter Nacht-Lichte miniature floating candles in original box. Made in Nurnberg, Germany This charming box of St. Peter Nacht-Lichte is filled with tiny floating candles and three floats. Originally made for use in low cut flower arrangements. The set is complete.

Includes tiny tweezers for picking up and placing the candles (50). Scalloped center disks keep them secure in the floats. The tin floats (3) each have three cork ballasts.

The red oval cardboard box has a beautiful illustration of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome on the label. Made in Nurnberg, Germany, by G.A.Glafey.

Directions for use are on the back of the box.(“Put water in a shollow bowl. Arrange low-cut flowers, ivy leaves around edges. Pour enough salad oil on water to cover surface. Then set float on the oil, a candle in float’s center hole, and light candle. T=Stays lit for hours. If candle sputters, add more oil.”

The tiny candles are 5/8" long. The oval box is 3 5/8" by 2 3/8" and 1" deep. 50 candles, 50 center disks, 3 floats.

The box and contents are in excellent condition.
