A beautiful Victorian Revival styled photo locket that hangs from a Fleur de Lis watch pin. The face of the locket is scored with a fleur de lis center medallion pattern and framed with draping vines. It can be removed from the watch pin.
The lovely fleur de lis pin can support other pendants or a watch and is designed with a bale so that it, itself, could hang from a chain or velvet ribbon. Also lovely worn simply as a little fleur de lis brooch. Rolling lock pin clasp.
Locket opens with small spring release knob at its top to reveal two old photos – a man and a woman behind plastic windows. Their style suggests the 1940s to early 1950s.
No hallmarks or signature. Maker unknown. Dates to the 1940s.
It measures 2 3/4 inches long in total length (brooch and locket). Locket is 1-1/4 inches across x 3/8 inches thick.
This gorgeous piece is in excellent condition with little sign of wear or use. Locket opens smoothly and closes securely. Very well made.
