Every well-appointed dressing table had one - an opalescent hobnail perfume bottle. Also referred to as a moonstone opalescent hobnail scent bottle, it has rich opalescence. The glass stopper has a plastic plug fitted on the stem rather than one of cork.
These bottles were made in the late 1930's through the 1950's.It stands 6 1/2" tall. I believe this one was made by the Fenton Glass Company, but Anchor Hocking and Duncan Miller also made these bottles and I am not certain of the manufacturer.
Measures approx 5" tall without lid and 6 1/4" with top.
It is in excellent condition - no chips, cracks or rough spots.
