A gorgeous rich mahogany brown genuine lizard skin handbag by DEITSCH. The classically styled bag is slim and tailored. Made of beautiful rich center-cut belly skin on each side with a structured curved brass frame.

Opens to reveal a spotless interior of soft cognac colored leather lining. One side has a metal zippered sidewall pocket and two open slip pockets. The other side has a slip pocket the length of the bag.

Gold embossed with the DEITSCH lizard mark and also gold embossed, “DOROTHY CARR”.

Closes securely with a brass clasp. Circa 1950’s.

The bag measures 8 1/4 inches wide x 7 1/2 inches high with a 2 inch deep base. The handle has a 5 1/2 inch hang.

Condition is near mint. Skin is impeccable with no wear or lifting. Handle is supple.
