HISTORY: In 1923, on their wedding day, Edgar and Theresa Hyman founded Echo scarfs. The company has always been known for their use of gorgeous colors, vibrant patterns, fine quality and craftsmanship.
“In a world where everything changes, the transformative power of beauty never goes out of style. And for everyday inspiration, there is always Echo.”
Flower power was a slogan used during the late 1960s and early 1970s as a symbol of passive resistance and non-violence ideology. It is rooted in the opposition movement to the Vietnam War.
Hippies embraced the symbolism by dressing in clothing with embroidered flowers and vibrant colors and wearing flowers in their hair.
