A great set of salt and pepper shakers in Red Wing Pottery’s Tampico pattern. Manufactured 1956 to 1965. The beige colored shakers are hand painted with the brown leaves design found in the design of the larger Tampico pieces.
Tampico was one of Red Wing Potteries' most popular designs. The pattern features leaves, melons, and a wine jug on a speckled ground. The pattern was created by Charles Murphy for his Futura line and its popularity led to the creation of many pieces unique to the pattern.
Salt shaker sits 4-1/2 inches high and pepper is 3-3/4 inches.
Excellent to mint condition. No chips or cracks. No paint loss or fading. Original corks.
