The thick slab top draws one to this rustic coffee table due to the heavy distress seen in every scratch, crack and deep gouges that came from years of constant use( likely in a butcher's shop). Even the old, dried out worm holes and hand carved legs add to its character. There is a slight bow to the top but one can still set glasses upon it. This primitive splay leg coffee table has been restored, lightly sanded, and waxed so it is strong, stable and ready for use. Please note depth measurement is taken at the widest point of the splay legs vs the top.
