Magnificent RARE solid sterling silver waiter tray. Produced by Amelie Cardeilhac, successor to Ernest, this extraordinary tray absolutely regal; perfection in sterling silver. No picture can do this tray justice, especially my pictures cannot show how breathtaking and commanding the presence of this piece. It is a knockout. Yes, size really does matter; and this tray weighs over 10 pounds. It's immense. The tray of oval shape, boasting a border of large pearls, with finely chased elegant acanthus handles, the surface engraved with radiating lines, floral foliate swags and bearing an interlaced monogram in the center "LD". Condition is pristine. The handles and tray are marked with the Minerve 1st titre; French guarantee for .950 sterling, and the maker's punch for Amelie Cardeilhac. A sumptuous piece, when only the very finest will possibly do!
