Antique hand painted portrait miniature of Empress Marie-Louise of France.

This is an exquisite hand painted miniature portrait depicting Empress Marie-Louise of France -- Archduchess of Austria and second wife of Napoleon Bonaparte.
Marie-Louise is beautifully dressed in a pink formal gown with a standing white lace border and gold set gem brooch pinned at corsage. She is wearing a large pearl necklace with drop pearls, drop pearl earrings, and a jeweled tiara in her upswept curled hair. The painting is set in a rich dore bronze frame with ribbon and bow surmount. It is signed by the artist 'Paulin'.
The painting and frame are both in excellent condition with no damage.
Measurements: Height 3 1/2 in. Width 2 7/8 in.
