Vintage Franciscan Round Divided Red Apple Grill Compartment Plate Great example with the tree trunk raised to form the divisions for meat and two veg! This Franciscan Apple pattern was produced from January 1, 1940 to 1984 and is characterized by its creamy background with bright red fruit, brown branches, and lustrous green leaves. Franciscan Apple is a beautiful earthenware pottery pattern featuring hand-painted designs. The plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, fleabites or crazing. It has a few minute manufacturer production flaws on tree trunk-- some brown glaze skips under the clear glaze. Measures 10 5/8" in diameter. Marked Franciscan made In California USA on bottom. These grill plates are hard-to-find and are a wonderful addition to any Franciscan collection.
