Vintage Dansk Kobenstyle Cobalt Blue Enamelware Small Paella Pan
My husband and I are longtime fans of the colorful, enamel-over-steel cookware called Dansk Kobenstyle. It was designed by the famous Danish designer, Jens Quistgaard. We own (and use) lots of it, mostly in red like this one. Here's a great find: the smaller size paella pan in cobalt blue and white and in wonderful condition.. It is marked on the bottom: Dansk Designs France. The bright blue exterior of the pot is in beautiful shape, shiny and reflective. The interior is in excellent condition, clean white , no stains or chips. Looks virtually unused. Measures 13" ½" across including the handles, 10" in diameter and 3 ¼" deep. A Beauty! Terrific for the Danish modern 1950's home kitchen chef. This pan is very versatile and can be used as an open buffet server. Cook and serve in mid century gourmet style.
