Yellow and White Copco Michael Lax Oval Open Buffet Server Paella Pan
Yellow and white enamel over cast iron pan with open handles. The bright yellow exterior is in beautiful shape, with only a few contact marks from use on range top on bottom, and the sparkling white interior is in excellent very lightly used condition. A few tiny faint utensil marks and one very tiny spot of missing enamel the size of a pencil point. This will in no way affect cooking function.
This large pan measures 16 1/2” x 14 ” x 3 ”.
This piece is part of the enamel-over-cast-iron line designed by Michael Lax and Sigvard Bernadotte in 1960. The line has not been produced for more than 25 years, and these Lax Copco designs are now considered mid-century design icons. All are increasingly hard to find.
Terrific for today’s Danish modern 1950's retro home kitchen chef. Oven or stove top to table in fine mid century gourmet style! Cook and serve in this beauty! The finest example of this form we've ever found.
