Applique Butterflies Quilt Coverlet With Skirts Twin
This would be so cute in a little girl's bedroom!
Colorful red, yellow, blue, green and white gingham butterflies are hand appliqued to white muslin blocks machine pieced with vertical sashing.
The gathered skirts are deep green and are notched at the bottom corners to accommodate bedposts.
Backing is white woven cotton, no batting. Great vintage summer weight bedspread.
Top measures: 36" x 82" with 17" skirts or drops on three sides. The top is finished with a full band of butterflies.
Excellent condition. Clean and washed and ready to use. Only flaws I can find are two small very faint stains which look like a dye run from the sashing, See last two pics.
