Vintage Vera Yellow Orange Flowers and Tendrils Print Scarf
This classic pop art vintage 60's 70's Vera design scarf is so beautiful and very colorful and fluidly painted in print! Large golden orange blossoms with leaves and vines with tendrils repeat on a sheer white background accented with her typical contour line in red with her signature and © signed in print. Hot pink border. Label: Vera, 100% polyester made in Japan. A pretty printed textile impression of her interpretation of the flowers like a watercolor. Measures 13" x 44". Excellent vintage condition. Clean and bright, no flaws I can find.
Mention vintage scarves and the name "Vera" immediately comes to mind. The designer behind the name was Vera Neumann, an artist turned textile designer. I've been a long time fan of her textile designs including her tablecloths. Fun fashion accessory and a little piece of wearable art. Lovely for Spring or Summer.
