1930’s Fabrics Butterfly Cuts to Applique on Quilt Blocks
Here’s a great group of butterfly wings shape cuts ready to finish into quilt blocks by appliqueing and embroidery.
The fabrics are all vintage cotton in a wide variety of typical 1930s prints.
There are 38 large 8 1/4” by 4 1/4” that come in matching pairs. There is one that has finished as a quilt block to make the pattern. All in excellent condition. They were made by my friend’s Mom in Alabama.
Great vintage sewing project for you or your quilter’s group. All you need is solid color cotton and black embroidery floss to make the blocks. sashing, batting and a backing to make a lovely quilt or comfort or pillows.
