Pyrex Old Orchard Beaded Edge Nested Mixing Bowls 3 Piece Set Great set of three vintage 1970’s Pyrex nested mixing bowls with the beaded edge in the Old Orchard Pattern which was designed by artist Estelle Rothstein and debuted in the spring of 1974. It was discontinued late 1977 or early 1978. Bowls of each size in the 400-series nesting bowl sets has brown shading at the rim, and patterned bowls alternate with non-patterned bowls. The Old Orchard bowl pattern is interesting because the design imprinted on the bowl is sort of rougher in texture. It looks almost hand drawn and depicts fruits like apples, cherries, grapes peaches and pears along with the leaves from the grapes. They are the 400 series Smallest to next to largest: 401 - 1.5 pint 402 - 1.5 quart 403 - 2.5 quart All in all an excellent vintage set! Smallest in excellent condition No chips or cracks, stains or utensil marks, paint is glossy and bright. Great vintage cookware to use or display in your kitchen. Remember these? Just like Mom’s or Grandma’s.
