Duhme & Co Coin Silver Tipped Shell Pattern Fluted Sugar Spoon
Very pretty and hard to find serving piece of antique coin silver flatware. This spoon is the pattern Tipped dates from the 1880s or earlier and measures 6 ½” long. Excellent condition. The handle is monogrammed L R C. Marked on back as made by Duhme & Co established in Cincinnati, OH and active from 1844-1896. The company was founded by 2 brothers: Herman Duhme and John H. Duhme. The company products include sterling (92.5% silver) flatware, coin silver flatware, hollow ware and jewelry. In the year 1896, it changes its name to Duhme Jewelry Co.
