Very pretty and hard to find serving piece of antique coin silver flatware. This spoon is the pattern Tipped dates from the 1880s or earlier and measures 6 ½” long. Excellent condition. The handle is monogrammed L R C. Marked on back as made by Duhme & Co established in Cincinnati, OH and active from 1844-1896. The company was founded by 2 brothers: Herman Duhme and John H. Duhme. The company products include sterling (92.5% silver) flatware, coin silver flatware, hollow ware and jewelry. In the year 1896, it changes its name to Duhme Jewelry Co.
I have a set of six desert or tea spoons from same estate which I am listing separately. Happy to combine to save on shipping.
