Man O’ War Famous Thoroughbred Breyer Horse Mold # 47
Here’s a great first version of the traditional scale of the most magnificent Man O’ War # 47 which was sculpted by C. Hess, introduced in 1969. He’s a very nice example, matte red chestnut coat, diamond shaped white star, black halter and shaded mane and tail and is the first version of this model with battleship gray hooves.
You can see him on page 125 of the Breyer Animal Collector’s Guide Fifth Edition.
In very good vintage condition with no chips. But he does have some scuffs—see pics. Still a super addition to your collection.
