1950's Marcelline Stoyke Red Tin BBQ Platter Tray with Chef BBQ and Ping Pong Table This platter is part of a series of 7 by architect and designer Marcelline Stoyke in the 50's. This particular design was inspired by Stoyke's own backyard with her husband modeling as the cheerful chef.
In very good vintage condition. Wear is limited to some scratches around the edges and is appropriate for a piece of this age. Tray is strong and sturdy, No dents or cracks etc. Red, white and black colors are vibrant and the tray looks great displayed. Measures 19" in diameter. This tray is solid and fully functional for serving or would look really cool displayed on a wall with the rest of your vintage plate and platter collection and fun for your retro kitchen. It could be a great Father’s Day or birthday gift for the Head Chef, Dad if he loves the art of barbeque. A festive, fun conversation piece for sure. Great on the Patio at a cookout for serving drinks or food.
