Pride of Flanders Colorful Cosmos Pattern Linen Tablecloth With Original Paper Label A fabulous floral pattern and bright color combination plus its original paper label makes this a knock out vintage 40’s 50’s tablecloth. Big bunches of flowers in each corner printed in red, yellow, blue and green. Nice border with flowers, framed in red. When I found it, the label was stapled to the tablecloth, so it was never used. There was some age stain along fold, so I carefully removed label and washed it gently with oxiclean and it came out beautifully. I will include label. “The Pride of Flanders” reg. US Patent Off. Pride of Flanders was one line introduced in 1924 by designer Wilendur or Weil & Durrse who made quality linens from the 1920's through mid-1980's. They made tablecloths from European linens from Belgium. The earliest Weil & Durrse brand was Pride of Flanders. This line was made of linen.
