This is an early wooden doll trunk for a small doll about 6" to 7" tall. The key that does come with does open and close the trunk. The trunk is missing its handle on the right side. The tray on the inside is missing and it looks like someone spilled some white paint on the inside of the trunk. Other than that the trunk is a lovely display piece. There is a little stain the backside of the trunk. It has been to many lands as you can see. I love the up raised ridge on the top of the trunk. Again it is cotton cloth covering a wooden trunk. The cotton fabric has a polka dot pattern on it. It is ready for display.
