This is a lovely large paper doll of the Dolly Varden Series by McLoughlin Bros, printed 1870 to 1880. This printing is known as chromolithography. The colors are very bright and saturated. The paper doll is two sided as are all her clothing , hats and hairdos. Betsy Brunette comes with: 1 card stock paper doll, 3 dresses, 2 hairdos, and 1 hat. She is all complete; all she is missing is her original folder she came in. The paper doll is 11" tall. This paper doll was bought in the 1940's and has been archived ever since. It is getting harder to find nice old paper dolls in good condition today.
