This is a sweet cabinet size doll from around 1900. She is a German Belton head doll (solid bisque head doll strung through the top of her head). She is all original with her clothing sewn on. The clothes have never been off her body. Her head is all good with no chips, cracks or hairlines. She has set brown glass eyes, single stroke eye brows, blushed cheeks and an open mouth with teeth. There is no mark on the back of her head as to who made her. She has her original light brown mohair wig. Her body is a 5 piece composition - 2 arms, 2 legs and torso. She has all her fingers. Her clothing consists of: white cotton drawers, cotton slip, lace slip, red cotton dress with black lace overlay on skirt and cream lace hat and shawl. All clothing is sewn on. She also has black cotton socks and black shoes that the front decorations don't quite match but come close. She is 12" tall and a perfect cabinet size.
