This doll is made by the German firm of Armand Marseille from 1890-on. She is a nice cabinet size of 13" tall with all original clothing. Her mohair wig has been replaced as her original was almost totally gone. Her bisque head is free of chips and cracks. She has brown sleep eyes, single stroke eye brows, open mouth with teeth and blushed cheeks. She is marked on the back of her head: Armand Marseille D.R.G.M. 246/1. Made in Germany. 390. A 4/0 M. She has a fully jointed 9 piece body made of wood and composition. Her arms could be restrung but it is not noticeable with her clothes on. I love her outfit: white cotton chemise, wool under skirt, red, white, blue heavy cotton skirt, plaid cotton jacket, blue and white stripe apron, black socks and dark brown wooden clogs. She is lovely lady from the vineyards. She does not have pants. She is 13" tall and ready for display.
