This doll is in excellent condition. The head has no chips, cracks or hairlines. She has an open mouth with teeth, blue glass sleep eyes, and feathered eye brows. The eye lids still have all their paint and open and close nicely. Her head is marked: 1159 Simon & Halbig S & H. Her body is also in great shape. She has all her fingers and body parts. The only thing I see is that her lower legs have been professionally repainted at some point in her life, a very nice job. Her clothing is beautiful: it is a copy of a late 1920's early 1930's actual custom-made wedding gown. The outfit consists of silk crepe bloomers, silk crepe under skirt, cream colored antique silk dress with loop and button closure, crown-like wedding veil (there are some small holes in veil), leather and wooden heeled shoes, and bouquet of flowers. She is a great cabinet size doll and is ready for display.
