I bought this years ago in New Hampshire at an antique show. I have always loved the delicacy of the carving. It looks like it was carved from a bookend. The woman leans against a wall, at ease with one foot in front of the other, her hands against the wall. The piece is unsigned. I figure it was done around the 1940's. It is in excellent shape though there is a small chip that was repaired a long time ago above her head, probably by the maker. The measurements: 4 38" tall, 2 1/2" wide at the widest point, 3/4" deep
