This is a real find: a Simon & Halbig #1078 on a walker body with all original clothing. He was made from 1889 and on. His bisque head is perfect with no chips, cracks or hairlines. He has feathered eye brows, blue-gray glass sleep eyes, blushed cheeks and an open mouth with teeth. The head is on a 5 piece composition body that is a walker: when you push his legs back and forth , his head moves from one side to the other side, so it looks like he is marching! He has his original brown mohair wig, tied into a pony tail. His clothing is all original: gray wool pants, gray wool jacket with red collar, red leather gaiters and a velvet and red wool hat. His gray wool jacket has some small moth holes but you have to look very hard to find them. He is 10" tall and ready for display.
