This vintage Black Americana folk art rag doll is 36 inches tall and was made and signed by Margie Cook in Cabool,
Missouri in 1986. It is excellent condition considering that it is over 30 years old, just some fading noticeable on
her cotton dress. She has very long legs and is very flexible. The doll is made of a heavy black upholstery type
fabric that is soft and somewhat silky and she is stuffed. Her hair is made of black yarn of various lengths and
adorned with ribbons made from the same fabric of her dress. The back of her head is primarily bald. Her lips
and nose are stitched/embroidered and her eyes are comprised of large black buttons on a white painted background.
This is a well made and well maintained doll of an exceptional length/size. She would look great upright on a stand
as well. Collectible....... Adorable.......
