Tall Amphora ovoid vase with flared trumpet neck and flat, heavily gilded rim. Hand decorated with sprays of pale blue and white flowers on a cobalt blue and white ground, richly accented with a complimentary floral motif in raised gold enamel. Made by the Amphora Porcelain Works of Reissner, Stellmacher, and Kessel in the Turn-Teplitz region of Bohemia. The gold enameling on this vase is some of the best I've ever seen. The vase is in near pristine condition with only a small scuff to the gilding on the outside edge of the rim. No chips or cracks. It probably has always sat protected inside a cabinet.
Impressed oval "Amphora" mark on base along with "D" and "2016". Measures 8 1/4 inches tall, 4 inches wide at waist and base diameter is 2 1/4 inches.
A similarly painted vase on a different shape bearing the red RSTK Amphora mark is also listed in my shop.
