Depression era green uranium glass oval tray with swirl pattern on base. Many glass companies during this period made patterns with rays or swirled decoration and this one is unmarked, so I'm not certain who made it. A few minuscule flakes common to Depression era glassware on inside edge mostly visible under magnification (I checked it with a loupe), wear from sliding across table surfaces visible at the very center of the bottom side (shown) and a few light scratches. Spectacular glow under blacklight! This tray would work well as a dresser tray for perfume bottles or for holding the sugar and creamer on the breakfast table, as a condiment tray or for celery snacks. 10 by 5 3/4 inches with 7/8 inch tall sides.
Uncommon antiques for the investor, as well as choice collectibles for the clever collector.
