Absolutely FABULOUS Du-Jay unsigned figural swan pin. The swan features a champagne-colored large faux pearl body with two-toned blue, gray and black enamel and sparkling rhinestone accents on the breast and wings. The metal is Rhodium-plated base metal. This lovely little gem is 2" by 1 1/4" at the highest point. This is an extremely high quality piece and is quite hefty for it's size. Du Jay was founded in 1934, making precious jewelry with gold filled and rhodium plated base metal. The jewelry contained tiny pave rhinestones accents, jewel tone beads and different shades of faux pearls and enameling similar to the metallic luster produced by Boucher. The company went out of business in 1972. Signed pieces are extremely rare. This gorgeous swan figural brooch has the characteristics of a Du-Jay piece.
