Fabulous rare set designed by Alfred Philippe, 1952. The patent number for the necklace is #167421. This patent was issued to Alfred Philippe on 8/05/1952. The necklace measures 14" long and 3/4" wide at the center front an has a fold-over clasp. The center of this magnificent necklace is designed with two ruby red rhinestone (stars" surrounded by a series of deeply faceted clear chatons and crystal baguettes. The brooch is 2 1/4" from side to side and about 1 1/4" from top to bottom. The brooch has three "stars" and those wonderful crystal clear baguettes and rhinestone highlights. The earrings have the little star inset with the ruby red rhinestones and are clip on style. The very best of Trifari was designed by Philippe and this set is a superb example! This set is from the "Twinkle" series and is a book piece listed in "Collecting Costume Jewelry 202" and is shown on 199. There is no damage to the set that I can see.
