Antique Sterling Columbian Expo Souvenir Estate Spoon
What a great Victorian era circa 1893 souvenir spoon for the Worlds Fair or Chicago Illinois collector! It is made of sterling silver and the handle reads WORLD'S COLUMBIAN EXPOSITION. The handle has a profile of Columbus and also has a world and an anchor. The bowl has a detailed sailing ship. The is a demitasse size and measures about 4 1/16" long by just shy of 7/8" across the bowl. The weight is about 9.7 grams. Signed with a maker's mark I don't recognize and also marked STERLING and PAT. APP. FOR. Good antique condition with light age appropriate wear. We haven't polished it. You will treasure this!!!
