Antique Sterling Cowboy Broncho Buster Souvenir Spoon
This gorgeous antique Victorian or Edwardian era estate spoon is made of sterling silver with a light gold wash in the bowl. The handle has a very detailed cowboy riding a bucking bronco horse and reads BRONCHO BUSTER. You can see the determination on his face and the ride is so wild that he's about to lose his hat! The bowl is engraved - BILLINGS MONT. in fancy letters. The spoon measures almost 5 1/8" long by about 1 1/16" across the bowl. It is signed with the initials MB with a miner's pickaxe and shovel which is one of the marks of JOSEPH MAYER BROS. and is also marked STERLING. It weighs about 23.2 grams. Good antique condition with light age appropriate wear including some expected wear to the gold wash. The sterling has a nice warm patina (tarnish) that we have left untouched. Perfect for the cowboy, cowgirl or Montana collector! You will treasure this!!!
