Antique Gorham Sterling & Enamel Estate Spoon
This gorgeous Victorian era souvenir spoon is made of sterling silver with a gold wash on the bowl that goes about halfway up the handle. The top of the handle has beautiful forget me not flowers that are enameled in blue with green leaves (there is a lot of loss to the enamel as seen). The spoon is a small demitasse size and measures about 3 5/8" long by 11/16" across the bowl. The weight is about 6.6 grams. Signed with the hallmarks of a lion, anchor and fancy initial G of GORHAM, also marked STERLING and numbered 808. There is a lot of loss to the enamel as already noted, but this is still a charming little spoon. You will treasure this!!!
