Eastern Star Antique Estate Sterling Spoon - Engraved Kirwin
This gorgeous antique Edwardian era spoon is made of sterling silver with a detailed Eastern Star design. The handle reads OES and has a lady carrying a sheaf of wheat in her arms. The bowl is engraved with the fancy name KIRWIN - which might be a place, or someone's name. On the back of the handle it reads Order Eastern Star. The spoon measures slightly over 5 11/16" long (close to 5 3/4" long). by about 1 1/4"across the bowl. The weight is about 28.9 grams. Signed with the maker's mark of the initial W inside a pennant, which is one of the marks of WATSON and also marked STERLING. Good antique condition with light age appropriate wear.
