1918 Birmingham Sterling Initial W or M Estate Napkin Ring
This gorgeous circa 1918 English napkin ring is made of sterling silver with a beautiful design. It is monogrammed with a fancy engraved initial - looks like either an M or W depending which way you turn it. The napkin ring measures about 1 1/16" wide and the opening measures slightly over 1 1/2" across. It is signed with the initials FRG which I think is the mark of F. R. Gomm (correct me if not, couldn't find much information) and marked with the British hallmarks of and anchor for Birmingham, a lion for sterling, and the date mark for 1918. Good condition with age appropriate wear for an item just shy of being a 100 year old antique - including some light dimples and denting. This is sure to add a touch of elegance to any table. You will treasure this!!!
