Antique Webster Sterling Set of 12 Nut Dishes
This gorgeous antique Edwardian era nut dish or cup set is made of sterling silver. It has a beautiful hammered texture with a stylized flower and flourishing leaves design at the edge. These would be so fun to use on your table for so many things... nuts, mints or candy, butter pats, or even as open salt cellars. They measure about 2 9/16" across and slightly over 1/2" high. Signed with the W Co with an arrow going through the letters early maker's mark of WEBSTER. The total weight is about 99.3 grams. The individual dishes vary a little in weight. Good antique condition with age appropriate wear including some dimples and denting, light surface wear and there is uneven tarnish and tarnish "freckles". These are estate fresh and we have not attempted to polish them. These would be amazing to use fro a party or for your Christmas or holiday table.
