Antique CHICAGO GREAT FIRE Signed Sterling Spoon - Masonic Temple - Souvenir of Illinois
This gorgeous Victorian era antique spoon is made of sterling silver. It has a detailed design of the Masonic Temple in the bowl with the date 1891, and on the handle, it depicts the Great Chicago Fire with the date 1871. The spoon is a teaspoon size and measures about 5 7/8" long by about 1 3/16" across the bowl. Signed with the mark of DOMINICK & HAFF and also marked STERLING PAT'D. '91 and C.D. PEACOCK which was probably the retailer that originally sold it. The weight is about 27 grams. Good antique condition with light age appropriate wear. You will treasure this!!!
