Antique Sterling ST. PAUL STATE CAPITOL Spoon - Souvenir of Minnesota - Demitasse
This gorgeous antique spoon is made of sterling silver. It has a very detailed design of The Minnesota State Capitol in the bowl. The handle depicts the seal of that state of Minnesota, a miner and a sheaf of wheat of the front. The back depicts a Native American Indian teepee, canoe and tomahawk. It is a demitasse sized spoon and measures about 4" long by just shy of 15/16" across the bowl. Signed with the initial H inside a pennant which according to what I've read is the mark of Mechanics Sterling Co. which was a subsidiary of Watson & Newell Co. and also marked STERLING. There is roughness along the edges of the bowl, otherwise, good antique condition. You will love this!!!
