Antique Sterling & Enamel ST JAMES CATHEDRAL Spoon - Souvenir of Montreal Quebec Canada
This gorgeous antique circa 1898 Victorian era Canadian spoon is made of sterling silver with a design that depicts ST. JAMES CATHEDRAL MONTREAL QUE. in the bowl. The handle is enameled in colors of aqua, rust red, cobalt blue, amber, green and white. On the back, it is marked R'G'D. 98. The spoon measures about 4 5/16" long by slightly over 7/8" across the bowl. Marked STERLING and is signed with a tiny maker's mark of the initial E inside a square diamond shape and is also marked DICKSON. The weight is about 12 grams. Good antique condition with age appropriate wear. There is a little expected enamel loss as seen in the enlarged photos which is nothing that detracts. You will love this!!!
